Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 13, 2026

1. Introduction

UniEntryGH ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard personal information in accordance with modern data privacy standards and the prevailing laws of the Republic of Ghana.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide a precise eligibility assessment:

  • Academic Information: High school grades (WASSCE/SSSCE) and institutions of interest.
  • Personal Identifiers: Phone number and gender (for institutional affirmative action checks).
  • Usage Data: Basic logs to improve engine performance and security.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used strictly for the purpose of matching your academic profile with university programs. We use your phone number to authorize payments and, in the future, to help you reclaim your assessment history.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share anonymized data with payment processors to facilitate transactions. We may disclose information if required by the laws of Ghana or to protect our legal rights.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages help students and which do not. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google information about your visit — the pages you open, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device and browser you use.

Your grades are never sent to Google. Nothing you enter into the eligibility checker, and no part of your results, leaves this site through analytics. What Google receives is which pages were visited, not what was on them.

You can stop this at any time without losing access to anything: turn on "Do Not Track" or block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's own opt-out add-on . The site works exactly the same either way.

We also set a small number of cookies of our own, which are not optional because the site cannot work without them: they keep you signed in and let us return you to a check you have already paid for.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no electronic transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

Under prevailing data privacy laws, you have the right to access, rectify, or request the deletion of your personal data held by UniEntryGH. Contact us at [email protected] for such requests.
