Hospitality management is about running hotels, restaurants, events, and tourism services. This programme at the University of Energy and Natural Resources is part of the School of Natural Resources and welcomes students from General Science and Home Economics backgrounds.

How hard it is to get a place

Entry into the BSc Hospitality Management at UENR is less competitive than the same programme at the University of Cape Coast, which is competitive. It is similar in competitiveness to Ho Technical University, Kumasi Technical University, and the University for Development Studies. To apply, you need credit passes in Core English, Core Mathematics, and Integrated Science or Social Studies, plus elective passes in either Elective Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, or Biology. Your course placement will depend on your WASSCE grades, so check whether they meet the university's requirements.
