Who the programme is for
This degree is open to students from General Science and Home Economics backgrounds. If you are interested in health but prefer working with communities and systems over one-on-one patient care, this field could suit you. Home Economics students, especially, bring useful skills in nutrition and family health.
How competitive entry is
Places on this programme are less competitive than many other health degrees, but admission is still based on your WASSCE results. Check whether your aggregate meets the university's requirements, and keep in mind that your chosen SHS background must be one of the two accepted.
