How hard is it to get a place?

At the University of Energy and Natural Resources, this programme is less competitive than at some other Ghanaian universities — for comparison, the same BSc Economics at KNUST and University of Cape Coast is highly competitive. The published subject requirements are Core English, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies, and elective subjects including Elective Mathematics, Economics, and one other elective. Meeting these subjects with good WASSCE grades is the first step, but because entry is less competitive, your chances are stronger than at more sought-after institutions.
