Registered Midwifery is a diploma programme offered at public nursing training colleges in Ghana. How hard it is to get a place

Entry into this diploma is competitive, meaning more people apply than there are places. You will need WASSCE passes to apply, including three electives chosen from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Home Economics. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission, so it is worth checking your grades against the specific entry criteria of the college you are interested in.

Graduates of midwifery programmes typically work as registered midwives in public or private hospitals, clinics, and health centres.
