Where steel benders work

Most graduates go into construction, working on buildings, bridges, roads, and other concrete structures. You could be employed by construction companies, sub-contractors, or work independently as a steel fixer. With experience, some steel benders move into site supervision or start their own small contracting business. The demand for skilled reinforcement workers is steady wherever concrete construction is happening.
