Bachelor of Public Health (Nutrition)

The Bachelor of Public Health (Nutrition) at the University of Health and Allied Sciences is a degree programme in the School of Public Health. What public health nutrition covers

Programmes of this kind examine how food, diet, and nutritional status shape health across whole communities, not just in individual patients. You would typically study community nutrition, food science, the causes of malnutrition, and how to plan nutrition programmes. Most graduates go on to work in health promotion, maternal and child health, food policy, or nutrition education.

The School of Public Health admits students from General Science and Home Economics backgrounds. If you have taken either of these at senior high school, you can apply for this programme. Given how competitive it is, your grades in the relevant subjects will be important.
